Getting to Boston
For those from out-of-town, Boston's Logan Airport (BOS) serves most major airlines.

Getting to the hotel

Students will be staying at the Marriott Hotel - Kendall Square near the MIT campus. For those flying into Boston, the easiest way to get to the hotel is to take the subway, known locally at the T. There are two options:

1. From your terminal at the airport, take a Silver Line SL1 bus to South Station ($2.00 fare if using CharlieTicket or cash). Take the Red Line train toward Alewife and get off at the Kendall Square stop. There is a free transfer from the Silver Line to the Red Line.

2. From your terminal at the airport, take a free blue shuttle bus to the Airport station on the Blue line. Then, pay your fare ($2.00 per ride using Charlieticket, regardless of distance or change of trains) at the station and take the Blue Line Inbound toward Bowdoin. At the Government Center stop, change to the Green Line going toward Park Street. Note that you can take any of the trolleys (B,C,D, or E) to get to Park Street. At Park Street, take the Red Line outbound toward Alewife and get off at the Kendall Square stop.

3. Take a cab directly from the airport to the Marriott Hotel - Kendall Square.

Getting from the hotel to MIT
Student Escorts will be available Friday morning to escort you to MIT. Please be in the hotel lobby by 8:00 am SHARP on Friday.
